High Point Conference and Tourism Bureau hosts the first Friday event and costume competition with a dog theme
The upcoming first Friday event of the High Point Conference and Visitors Bureau (HPCVB) will be held on Friday, July 6th at 5pm. It is located at 7:00 pm at the Regional Visitor Center at 1634 High Point North Street.
The event will include the “most patriotic animal costume competition.” Registration time is 5pm. The judgement began at 6 pm and 6:15 pm. All dogs participating in the event will receive prizes and homemade food. The winner of the competition will receive additional prizes. Kimberly Mozingo, HPCVB Group Service Coordinator, said: “We like to involve pets in some of our activities because people really like to let them participate in fun activities.”
The companies and organizations that will participate in the event include fur baby boarding and beauty, K-9 units at High Point Police Station, Juliet’s Family Animal Rescue, Pet Friendly Hotels, Northwood Animal Hospital and Susie Hope. The event is free and open to the public.
