Authorities are looking for horrible clothing and large inflatable products for their horses.
KMBC-TV reported that the horses that the Kansas City police have patrolled need to be prepared for anything that might cross its path.
“You have to know that the horse is under you, he will be confident and not panic. Someone is holding an umbrella or waving something in the air or somewhere. Before you put him in that kind you must know that he is Solid situation, “Sergeant. Joey Roberts said.
Therefore, they asked for donations: any clothing or dramatic inflation that could be used as a training tool to mimic the potential surprises they encountered while patrolling.
“It’s more about their reaction to terrible things. Building this trust and confidence between the horse and the rider,” Roberts said.
The trainer exposes the horses to as many things as possible, so it does not interfere with their police work when an accident occurs.
Kansas City police installed patrols to ask anyone who wants to donate inflatable toys or clothing to contact them.
